Health Ministries Commission
Requirements
- Membership in Holy Trinity Parish including Pastoral Region 7
- An active interest in health issues with a willingness to stay current with resources and trends related to a health and healing ministry
- Knowledge of and compliance with Scope and Standards of Parish Nursing as established by the American Nursing Association
- Attendance at meetings
- Collaboration with Pastor, staff liaison and other commissions
Responsibilities
Participation in or coordination of:
- Blood pressure and other health screenings as appropriate
- Educational programs
- Special events such as parish blood drive, and annual Lenten Pilgrimage
- Surveys of parishioners regarding interests and needs
- Prayer shawls
- Educational articles
- First aid kits, CPR, AED Units
- Health and wellness programs
